On the way in this morning
I came across this scene at TV Centre. It appeared to be a re-enactment of that scene in the Austin Powers movie where they're all dancing to that groovy music, Austin is wearing purple and there are 1960s policemen. The music was blaring and they were clearly shooting it for TV. Newsnight, I imagine.
RE twitter.
Is it not cold by now?
I reckon it's a rigged scene for the documentary they're making to celebrate 50 years of the Today programme.
The guy in purple was probably John Humphrys wearing a suit from his Swansea youth.
When PM hits the big five oh, you could ask froggers to come and do a crowd shoot wearing gear from their youth. I think I can still find a miniskirt somewhere ...
"Doctor Evil, did you threaten to overrule the decision to remove Mr Powers' mojo?"
"Ssshh!"
"Doctor Evil, did you threaten to overrule the decision..."
"Sshh!"
"Doctor Evil, did you..."
"Ssh!
"D..."
"Sh!"
SSC (3) ROFL! I can just imagine the scene now. Thanks for brightening an otherwise dreary day :)
Yeah baby!
(Well, someone had to say it!)

It makes me think of Fat Les. I don't know why, because I don't think I've actually seen the video -- perhaps a short clip.
