There is no pic
from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Star Terrace today. It turns out the ´óÏó´«Ã½ just made up all of the stars who're on it. If you want to know more, call 098765432123454.
In the meantime Johnnie sends these:
Chris Jarvis and Cbeebies Radio producer Colin in Broadcasting house - but whereabouts?
A: The new drama studio. Note the two different textures of the staircase.
And here is a dramatic door:
But Eddie, where's the photo of you and Jonnie please?
what is this story about?
a diversion from the regular frauds that the bbc commit?
or just showing off the expensive paints that you spend our well earned on?
either way I am not amused!
I think you need a bit of cheering up today, Eddie, and perhaps some steel for your nerves, so I'm suggesting today's song might be:
"When you walk through the storm
Keep your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark -
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone"
'Pour encourager les autres,' Eddie, you could go round the office singing this (or humming) and just see how those wilted hearts lift.
What a lovely pair of knockers.
Aperitif,
Eddie was at Television Centre getting ready to fire some blows at the DG :-)
I will post the other pictures I've taken on Flickr.
Oh and a short video of Chrios J and I on a Rickshaw - a five minute journey from Soho to Waterloo Station. A Polish student provided the power - guess how much?
£25 - and then Chris gave him a £5 tip !
I can see the point of two textutres on the stairs, The different phones or whtever for sound effects for ring tones etc. Even the dramatic door. But what's the football table about?
RJD (4): Gah! Beat me to it. I was going to add "how modest of the beeb to keep them so restrained". Jiggling knockers would be a sound effect to far, I imagine.
Ok, it's a fair cop, that probably does warrant an abusive poster time-out warning. I'll spend the moment admiring said knockers and wondering why they are kept polished for radio. I imagin it is just because they are new.
Last time I was on a Rickshaw (well I think it was classed as a Trishaw). This was Penang, Malaysia. It was probably 25 ringit. They do charge more in London I see.
Can I have a rest now? - my back hurts!
For those of you who are interested, I've posted the Broadcasting House photo's up to Flickr: Nice one of Eddie -- well a good likeness lurking in there :-)
