With all the 502s at present, do you want us to send in our votes by e-mail?
H.
And don't you dare 502 THIS!!
P. S. Nice chap doing the weather forecast, by the way. It would be nice to hear more from him. ;o)
When Eddie did his impromtu weather forecast today (Thursday) he mentioned what sounded like "Apache frost". Is this what you get from an Indian Summer?
Humph(1) Good point! The effect of THOUSANDS(?) of folk registering their vote on-line tomorrow is only going to add to the bloggage!
Only three posts here? - don't believe it!
Thanks for using Brighton Morris Men as the sound of summer. In recognition, Brighton Morris Men, at our AGM on 27 September, adopted Eddie Mair as our honorary patron for the 2007 - 08 season.
If this message gets through .. before 01:00am .. I'll try blogging tomorrow (Friday).
Otherwise...............?
Fifi
And as this message ( like so many others today ) will be 502'd... oh sod it!
Night all!
Fifi xx
I vote for the birdsong, and of course the Manx GP practice session.
I just hope it doesn't crash the blog again ...
Chickens, please.
Eddie - re Andrew (5) I trust we'll hear the jingle of bells each time you shuffle your feet tonight?!
Great weather forecast.
Wonderful way to mark the 20th anniversary of the notorious 'hurricane' forecast by poor old Fishy
Great weather forecast.
Yes, it was an excellent weather forecast - the only bit of the prog I caught yesterday as I was stuck in the office till 5.50 pm. So it was good to have more of Eddie's dulcet tones than usual.
I vote for 3. Although of course I have no idea what it sounds like as they don't let me have a sound card in the office!
So please play it for me so I know what it sounds like!
Re post 5: Oh my! Scottish Eddie as honorary patron of the Brighton Morris Men? Does that scan?
But perhaps he can persuade them to adopt the haggis, then we can strive towards true integration of the English and Scottish traditions. Alternatively the Morris Men could dance in kilts?

Surely the sound of pouring rain would be the sound of Summer 2007
1.
Definitely the chickens!
I said 1. but...
...yes, wait. I'm changing my mind. 2. Definitely.
But does this mean I've got to vote for 2. twice - to show its better than 1.?
And 3, 4, 5 and 6 so that they tie with 1 again?
Oh, heck! I've changed my mind again.
Thank goodness for 502 - it stopped me making a mistake.
3. is definitely best.
So two more voties for 3 and one more vote each for 1., 3., 4., 5., and 6.
I think.
Goodness I think I'd better email Yentob to explain to him what I'm doing.
How can you lot, (3) to (90)-odd be so certain!?!
(You've guessed, it the 1. above is actually 1 mod(6) wrapped round three times already).
I'm so impressed by you all. No wonder you've told us all about it instead of just voting.
Such self confidence. You should all be on the radio as people of opinion. But you should tell us more. Its always so interesting to know in detail what people like you think.
Blog telegraph : Where is Fifi? Is she OK?
mac, don't be snide.
