One more time
It may well be fruitless but I'm having another go at posting something on this blog. Am waiting to see if I can publish some great photos sent to me yesterday.
Can you see this?

Poor Sequin! It's not fair. There you are doing PM, and the blog is broken.
Yes, we can see your post; we just have no way to know if we can reply. As a rule, we can see anythiing that makes it up here, but replying can take hours and involve so much effort that we are unlikely to bother. So there is less and less to see, and less to replyto. Vicious circle.
We also have no way to know whether our reply will ever appear, nor whether when it does it will turn out to have been after a lot of other replies that were not yet up whilst we were replying.
We don't unlove you, honest!
Regarding flu shots, I must admit an amused reaction when I got my first letter advising me as a n 'older' person that I should arrange to get my free jab...

Sequin - did you apply Mr Muscle to clear the bloggage?
I can see it.... but can you see us?
Well, as I ended up in Café 502, I doubt it!
Well at last, it's been mentioned on Radio 4. Yes i mean the population growth in Britain. We having been hearing about the number of houses that need to be built in the coming years but this means an explosion in the population. Jonathan Porrett [?] actually stated what I have been saying for years now. This island cannot sustain the likely population that is envisaged in the next 20 years, 70 milion. We've discussed climate change, transport etc etc but now we have to discuss the maximum number of inhabitants that can live on this great island of ours. I say a max of 50 million. So how do we do it. Not a clue at the moment but we never will until we address this mounting problem.
I can't see a thing - fog still hasn't lifted in Stirling, but the sun is shining up the road in Callander.
Not at home to Mr 502 - if he turns up II'm just not playing any more

Surely shome mishtake...?
For Roger (14),
England is the fourth most densely populated country on Earth (after Bengladesh, South Korea and Netherlands). Only Scotland's relatively sane density keeps Great Britain anywhere nearly sustainable, and, to be honest, we're quite happy up here without abny more northern migration...we in the rural areas could also do without the 'central belt', in which more than eight out of ten Scots stay.

Trossachs,
"Like a man travelling in foggy weather, those at some distance before him on the road he sees wrapped up in the fog, as well as those behind him, and also the people in the fields on each side, but near him all appears clear, though in truth he is as much in the fog as any of them"
- Ben Franklin
I wonder what Ben would have to say about 502

Great quote (as always) - sorry not to have commented earlier. Been singing serious 502 blues....

The US Government gives its friends the nod and the curtain goes up on yet another act in the 'Dance of Death' pantomime whose well-rehearsed and familiar steps are, this time around, likely to end in the destruction of the state of Iran and ruination of the lives of millions of its people.
What partisan editorial process is it that means PM can play its part in this macabre dumb-show by running a general 'reminder' piece on Iranian and Muslim fundamentalist excesses on the same day the US announces new sanctions against Iran?
And no, I was not placated by the Valerie Plame interview. Most people are now very familiar with the shabby gangster antics of the the most powerful government in the World.
Hi Joseph (29),
You may well ask!
Just which country has Iran attacked?
In the last half century or more, she has been attacked on several occasions, had an elected government overthrown with CIA assistance, been messed about by Great Britain (the "Colonial Power"), and God knows what other persecution.
She is actually one of the least aggressive nation-states on the planet.
