If we were allowed to play games in the office
is the sort of thing we would play. I have NOT played this. I cannot stress that highly enough.
But I'm guessing that if I did my highest score would be 456. If today's editor played, it might be 859.
What's yours?
Oh blimey how addictive! Best score about 90 :-(
Why do I laugh so much every time I crash???
72
Oh dear, Eddie. I can feel the productivity of the nation decreasing as I type. Isn't it amazing how addictive a simple game can be?
Perky (419 - but getting in lots of practice!)
684 and counting.
Thanks Eddie, another excuse to avoid working. Lets not tell Alistair Darling about it though, he needs to concentrate at the moment.
I would claim it was my score - but I won't. Ritchie, our production planner has achieved 874.
The nation will be starved of pizzas for one day - you have been warned
Almost as much fun as this.......
Ritchie just reached 1216 - he's gone of to do some work to celebrate. Phew! We can eat again.....
1105, but then I read the instructions, so maybe that was cheating :P
119, and a helicopter with a severe headache and a very bruised nose.
And I'm learning to fly a (very basic) indoor model helicopter.
I'm trying for 502 ;o)
Now 344. Nose healing.
Stoppit! Stoppit! Stoppit!!!
Ritchie appears to have given up working for the day - hogh score update: 1482
Eddie - can you spare anyone to help keep the wheels of industry turning?
Phew... Thank goodness your "Post" Eddie, clears up that "little" problem..!
Y'see, someone'd told me Eddie, that they'd seen you playing, in the office, with your "Little Chopper" and comparing your "performance" with the Editor's...
And, I thought... well, I thought...
1224... I'm getting angry now.
Try this if you have a microphone on your PC:

If not, try this "https://www.weebls-stuff.com/games/dogfight"
@ 12
This means war!
Grrrr 126.... I'm supposed to be starting evening surgery in a minute!!!
gosh I'm glad that my computer says it can't get whatever this is
are we still counting
(or should that be: ard dwe sdill coudtindg??!)
And do you usually go over, or do you prefer to whizz underneath???

You are VERY NAUGHTY, Eric, and I hope that the PM office will soon install a Naughty Step.
Closely modelled on the Today proggie's Naughtie Step, nae doot. (Anyone see last night's TV thingie on it? The prog, not the step)
Big Sis, I dived straight in (several times. Crash!) and got mashed up a lot before I realised where this could lead (see above for proof!). So I may read the instructions.
Or I might resist.
Har, har
gosh I'm glad that my computer says it can't get whatever this is
608 but a colleague just passed the 1000 mark!
Had a few goes and got 266.
704 - appears I fly helicopters about as well as I drive. [I presume that this was an eco-friendly low-carbon emission helicopter?].
what have you done?!
Ho hum, so you've discovered Copter...
Only about 5 years after most schoolchildren - it's one of those flash games that crop up everywhere, leading to a constant game of cat-and-mouse between the pupils (finding the games) and the teachers/technicians (adding the URLs to their filter list). Sixth formers were particularly fond of this one...
AFAIK, the two most common at the moment are:
The Adrenaline Challenge (trust me, the title's ironic)
Line Rider
Both the originals, and various modified versions.
Eddie,
502 ,OH GOD is this an omen. It's much better with the real things, they make a much louder bang when they crash.
B'n'B
532 - and my head hurts!
158, but a load of laughs. Actually I think it's hysteria, I make the same mistake every time!
I don't play this sort of game. But if I did, I might have scored 612.
Sid
608 and I was on 502 honest for ages. Must send this to "everyone"
What's the smallest score you can get? I reckon 19 is the lowest.
My favourite score is 38. Or do I mean median ...
Sid
Ah! Now I get it! Here on the 'office' computer, I got 865 second time out. It seems ability is measured in inverse proportion to processor speed......
xx
ed
P.S. Stewart's right. It seems impossible to get less than 19. ;-)
Now this really is interesting*. I find I get much higher scores with the sound on ...
Sid
*values of interesting may vary
mittfh @ 26, it is very very unkind ever to point out to media folk that they are trumpeting as 'new' something many other people have known about for years.
In the same way one shouldn't say 'I told you so' when they notice the security of huge databases, or rather the lack of it. Let's just be glad that they *do* finally catch up, eh?
