December 1st.
As is now traditional, PM listeners send in a photo for advent and between now and the 25th we'll post one a day.
Big Sis says this is a "picture taken last year of two of my stepchildren meeting Mr. Santa. As you can see, the dodgy beard didn't faze them at all. Oh for the innocence of childhood! :o)"
To send YOUR photo, email it to PM@bbc.co.uk - PLEASE put ADVENT in the subject line.
MONDAY 0735 UPDATE: December 2nd and 3rd WILL appear on the blog later. (ahem)
This year Big Sis, a hefty Sherry and a dozen or so home made mince pies wouldn't go amiss...
Oh goody. The blog that can't even post comments wants us to send in some pointless pictures!
Mine is already on its way...
Fifi ;o)
Bah Humbug

Remind me, who was it who kind-of, sort-of, mentioned, indicated even, a short while ago, that they'd "consider" submitting an advent picture of themself "...in chains, dressed as Scrooge.."
Mmmm...
what exactly does it take for something to become a "tradition"?
Why hey it's nearly Christmas!
But errr.... where's today's pic?
Little Red this is the second year so its traditional. Well its actually one year and one advent post :-)
Its like the blog not working being traditional!
Stewart, I may channeling ValP here, but as this post is following the tradition, it means that it can't be part of the tradion creation, so it only takes one year, I would say....
Blimey. As it's December I suppose I ought to think about Christmas. Grrr.
Appy,
Don't bother! Have a !
Season's greetings

A stitch in time saves nine.
If a certain supermarket's ads are to believed, all it takes is for Kerry Katona to proclaim something as traditional and it becomes so...
Ed (10), I have made agreements with several people that our gift to each other this year will be not having to go out shopping for anything for each other. This is spankingly good news, but there remain other seasonal things to be thought about, so I say, again, grrrr.
:-)
'All you have to do is tell some daft story in Glastonbury, and within ten years it's an Ancient Somerset Tradition.' :-) Can't remember who first pointed that out, though.
Appers, *think* about Christmas all you like: you don't have to *do* anything about it! Just practise saying 'Bah, humbug' at intervals.
