Food.
Rory Dryden sends: "Mackeral, leeks, carrots, potatoes and fruit for tea tonight."
Charles sends mince and tatties "from the combine":
Ben Newsam writes: "You wanted pictures of food: here you go. It is macaroni cheese with mashed potato, peas, and a dollop of ketchup. I can feel the pounds falling away already!"
Ivor is very creative. He sent this: "No Eddie they are not maggots these are the beans I am using in my tea":
and this second "artistic version":
We never know what creativity our invitations will inspire. There's Ivor's stuff and then there's this from Allan Davies in Thornbury in South Gloucestershire. "It's not my dinner/tea but this visitor on my lawn this afternoon took over an hour to consume this pigeon. Hope he/she returns tomorrow, there is an excess of the damn feathered rats here."
We also got this:
Carol Walters writes: "Here's our dinner tonight. Beef curry (Madras) with brown basmati rice. 'Hope yours is as nice!"
Ray Allen sends: "9 minutes to six just too late.....salmon en croute... if I'd had the 'before' snap would have probably cooked/consumed twice as much!"
And Chris Jones said: "Here's my evening meal. I've just found a few cooked but cold new potatoes in the fridge, and I may heat those to have with it."
