Ecstasy v horse-riding
I've just been interviewing Professor David Nutt who is chairman of the Home Office Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs which is expected to recommend next week that ecstasy should be downgraded from a Class A to a Class B drug. Professor Nutt has been arguing that taking ecstasy is no more dangerous than riding a horse. Arguing with him on air was David Raynes from the National Drug Prevention Alliance.
