Ray Williams brought a Commonwealth Games gold medal back to Anglesey in 1986 and now he hopes to bring home a slice of the London Olympics.
He is the Welsh weightlifting coach and wants his Holyhead weightlifting centre to become a training camp for a national side competing in 2012. Jon Manel will be reporting on his attempt on the programme this evening. Here are a few current beneficiaries of the training regime:
