It's just over two weeks now to the start of the World Cup. Hugh is there for PM, with a series of reports over the next few days on PM, The World at One and Broadcasting House.

But these children won't be going to the World Cup. They're enjoying a joint birthday party - for thirty children - in an 'unofficial' pre-school centre that relies on donations for its existence:

The children shared four birthday cakes, which were passed around and their candles re-lit for every child:
