"The man who runs the Eurovision Song Contest is Swedish. The people who count the votes are German, and the Norwegians are hosting with the inspiration of a real British Eurovision fan called Helen.

Helen is 36 and she really exists. I am trying to find out more about her, but I think she comes from Milton Keynes.

Norwegian organisers told me at the commentators' briefing that they wanted to remember that most viewers are NOT Norwegian. Norway has 4 million people, planet Eurovision is watched by 125 million. ( I added the word planet.)

So the focus is to remember Helen (poss from Milton Keynes) at all times. She is married with children, she's 36, and the show is designed with her and millions like her, in mind."
