Here's our fortnightly look at what's coming up under the red button...
T in the Park 2009
With tickets for last year's festival selling
out in hours, anticipation for TitP 2009 couldn't be higher. Confirmed for
the event at Balado, near Kinross are Blur, The Killers, Kings of Leon,
Nick Cave, Ting Tings, Lily Allen, The Specials, Franz Ferdinand, Calvin
Harris, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow, James, and Nine Inch Nails and for
the fourth year running ´óÏó´«Ã½ Red Button will be there to showcase the best
of the lot.
On the weekend itself, Freeview viewers will have a choice of up to 3 streams
featuring highlights from the headliners, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Acoustic / Collaborations
stage and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three's coverage while an additional stream for Sky and Virgin
viewers will take an alternative slant on the festival, highlighting up
and coming acts and extended sets from more established artists.
And festival-goers will have barely had time to hose themselves down before
Red Button returns on the Monday with a week full of the very best moments
and most talked about performances from Balado.

The National Lottery: Guesstimation
This summer Nick Knowles invites digital viewers
to deploy their skill and judgement to out-guess his studio contestants.
Over three exciting rounds two family teams will face a series of unusual,
fun and occasionally head-spinning brain teasers. Their mission is simple:
guess closest to the correct answer. Meanwhile Red Button viewers get the chance to weigh-up
their own on-screen options. Will your guesses earn YOU living room bragging
rights? It's just a question of judgement.
The National Lottery: Guestimation showcases the Dream Number draw which
raises funds for many of the venues that will be hosting events at the London
2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With a raft of exciting new comedy airing on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two in 2009, digital viewers in the mood to tickle the red buttons on their remotes can keep the laughter going after the show has finished.

Comedy drama Taking the Flak follows the progress of a small African
war through the eyes of journalists sending home nightly reports for the
Ten o'Clock News.
Every week under the red button Comedy Extra will feature new material and
exclusive footage from the Flak location in Africa.
We've also rolled out the red carpet for That Mitchell and Webb Look.
Grab your digital remote after 9pm most evenings as Robert and David introduce
a gaggle of sketches you won't see in the main show along with a unique
series of animations from their radio show commissioned just for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Red

This year, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Red Button is offering digital viewers a choice of up to
five live matches, plus a highlights service and replays of the tournament's
top matches. When there is coverage on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two, Freeview offers
a choice of up to four matches.
At the time of writing Andy Murray is in the semi-finals as he continues
his quest to become the first British man since Fred Perry to lift the Wimbledon
trophy with only Andy Roddick and either Roger Federetr or Tommy Haas standing
between him and a place in history.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½'s team of commentators will be on hand with expert opinion across
finals weekend offering a choice of action from both the singles and doubles
and a highlights package which will run the following week.

F1 fans can customise their viewing experience via the red button with access
to all on-track sessions including Friday and Saturday practice and qualifying.
On race day itself a choice of three streams will be available featuring
split-screen in-car camera feeds, leaderboards and rolling highlights, with
the option to listen to either network or ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live commentary. After
the end of each race on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One there will be an additional interactive
programme analysing the weekend's events and picking up views from the paddock
with race highlights often available the following day.

- Cricket: The Ashes
With the ICC World Twenty20 having concluded, the hotly-anticipated 2009
Ashes series against Australia begins in Cardiff on 8th July.
Live commentary courtesy of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio's Test Match Special team, led by
Jonathan Agnew, will be made available via ´óÏó´«Ã½ Red Button for the series.

from The Scottish Open at Loch Lomond where Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell
triumphed last time out.
This will be closely followed by full and comprehensive coverage of the
138th Open Championship where Padraig Harrington will be looking to defend
his title.
