Funny People - comedy god Judd Apatow gets personal with his 3rd film as director, laying bare the comedy world that he came from. Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen (on your right, with E) star although it's support from Jonah Hill, Jason Schwartzmann and Eric Bana that steal it. It's too long and occasionally whiny, but the massive barrage of gags make it worthwhile. 3 stars.

The Final Destination - more attempts to cheat death, this time in 3-D at selected cinemas. Cheaper and less inventive than the others but at least putting the funny glasses on gives it a bit of depth. 3 stars (for the 3-D version).

The Hurt Locker - there's some serious intensity in this look at an elite bomb squad in Iraq. It's not about the big names (Ralph Fiennes is just a cameo) or even the plot. It's just about a series of life-threatening events that play havoc with the minds of US service men in a strange country. Gutsy stuff. 4 stars.

This film you are gonna love.i promise. Zooey Dechanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt star in what i think is one of the best films of the year. Everything about it is ace, not to mention the music. Joseph will be on the show next week as will one of the tracks from the film, Temper Trap, ' Sweet Disposition,' is our top rated. Have a look at this exclusive behind the scenes footage.

What a way to spend Monday lunchtime, with Jonah Hill and Adam Sandler. They came in to talk about their new film Funny People which is out on Friday. Inglourious Basterds (cert.18) - Brad Pitt stars in this gutsy Tarantino WW2 epic (with weird spelling), telling the tale of Nazi hunters, British spies and a Jewish orphan in occupied Paris. It's part moody and unsettling, part full-on punchy - an odd mix that makes for intoxicating viewing. Brad's great as a redneck US Lieutenant, but it's Christoph Waltz as creepy Colonel Hans Landa that steals the breathtaking show. 5 stars.

Dance Flick - Another Wayans Bros spoof that takes the art of non-comedy to new levels. Step Up and Save The Last Dance might be worthy of mickey-taking but this misses the blindingly obvious targets and opts instead for fart gags. Painful. 0 stars.

I Love You Beth Cooper - wannabe life-changing teen pic about a boy (Paul Rust) spending his graduation night with the girl of his dreams (Hayden Panettiere). Cue lots of wacky adventure and the odd nice twist. But this tries too hard to be a high school classic. 3 stars.

When I was studying film at University and used Pulp Fiction as my subject matter, I never imagined I would be sat opposite it's director and writer having a chat. I love my job! Here is a treat for you, it's the directors cut of my chat with Quentin, hope you enjoy it, I did.

I'm getting through reading New Moon in time for the new film coming out and it's really rather good. I found this trailer online last night and thought you might like to see it.

Bandslam (pictured) - it may be a bit of an odd mix of uber-cool indie tunes and huge amounts of cheese but this tale of a local band competition is packed with awesome music and big laughs. Vanessa Hudgens shakes off her good girl Gabriella image whilst the geeky Gaelen Connell is great as nervy band manager Will. Feelgood stuff. 4 stars.

The Time Traveler's Wife - big time weepy starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, with The Notebook beauty trying to cope with her hubby's ability to transcend space. The sci-fi element is never really explained - this is all about tragic romance and emotional breakdown. And it does it very well... 4 stars

Imagine That - weird family flick with Eddie Murphy as a rich money man who discovers his daughter's comfort blanket helps him predict the future. Yeah... I know. I guess it could've been hilarious in other hands, but Eddie's over-acting and schmaltzy default setting kill it. 1 star.

Aliens In The Attic - no-nonsense kiddy pic, with a cousins on holiday battling extra-terrestrials in their loft before their parents find out. Thin... but fun. 3 stars.

The Perfect Getaway - enjoyably tongue in cheek thriller, with Milla Jovovich and Steve Zahn as a honeymooning couple faced with killers on the loose in Hawaii. The cheeky glint in its eye makes this one to watch... 4 stars.

Quentin Tarantino changed Hollywood. The way he wrote, cast, scored and directed his films blew away the stuffy suits in LA back in the 90s and we're still feeling the after effects. Pretty impressive. So when I had the chance of a good chunk of time with the man, it was the perfect opportunity to cast a glance back over his incredible career, wallow in that trademark snappy dialogue and get his take on some of the iconic tunes from his movies.

1. Grease - it's been so popular for so long it's hard to imagine a time without this legendary movie. It may be a simple boy-meets-girl tale but there's a grittiness to the story (check out the character of Rizzo) that gives it some welly. The wedding disco tunes ain't bad either. In short, a cultural phenomenon. Starring John Travolta and Edith Bowman...sorry, I mean Olivia Newton-John.

2. Moulin Rouge! - the movie that brought the musical back to the Hollywood mainstream, thanks to its music video visuals and breathtaking selection of tunes. It'll make you blub too.

3. The Sound Of Music - the biggest musical ever continues to be on tellys and stages around the world, 44 years since its release. Dame Julie Andrews is an old-skool musical legend and this is a glossy epic 'like they used to make 'em'.

4. Mamma Mia! - any film that's been seen by this many people is gonna divide opinions. But even haters can't deny that this sun-kissed Abba tribute scores big on escapism, even if logic goes headfirst out of the window. And it's a record-breaker...

5. Hairspray - it's not quite a classic yet but this extravaganza about a girl fighting segregation and sizism in 60s Balitimore is infectiously entertaining. It's big, brassy and bloomin' hilarious. One that'll run and run...

I've been waiting for this film for ages. I first read the book by Alice Sebold years ago and was thrilled to hear that Peter Jackson, he of Lord of the Rings fame, was taking on directing duties. Well it's almost here and WOW, how good does the trailer look? It's even made me get over the fact that Ryan Gosling was replaced by Mark Wahlberg. Check it out and let the countdown begin.

Milla Jovovich is awesome. She can do pretty much anything sing, act, make nice clothes and chat. Really lovely to have her on the show today to talk about her new film The Perfect Getaway which is out in cinemas next week. Funny People isn't just gonna be hilarious. It's also gonna be personal. One-time comedian Judd Apatow writes and directs this story set in the world of stand-up comedy and has filled it with stars who've also spent their time on the comedy circuit (Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Eric Bana).
