Our site launched in July 2010 with the purpose of showcasing the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s online, television and radio content arising from the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We've tweaked a few things since then but now, with the arrival of 2012 and the pace increasing by the day, we're going for the line with a bold new design.

Every so often I post a quick update on what we're up to - mainly to keep everyone informed of what the ´óÏó´«Ã½ 2012 project is doing, but also in the interests of accountability. This blog literally answers to you.
So two things to mention today.
First, a long-running theme: we've secured outline planning permission for our studio in the . This will perform a similar function - being at the centre of the action and with a panorama of all the main venues.
The only difference here is that it will be able to accommodate simultaneous broadcasting for ´óÏó´«Ã½ One and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three.

I'm going to leave it to everyone else to welcome you to 2012.
But I do want to alert you to our first ´óÏó´«Ã½ 2012 television trail, which is running from New Year's Day onwards. The aim - to excite the widest range of audiences about what we have in store for the year ahead.
If you read this blog regularly, you'll know this is more than just sport - even though are the crowning moment.
So what we've tried to do is capture the music, drama, documentaries and entertainment that will be on our airwaves or accompanying the in the build-up to the Games.
