This week there were important lessons for all concerning chickens. Jamie Andrew talked about continuing to do the rock climbing he loves despite having had both his hands and feet amputated after a mountaineering accident. And we had a Guerilla Report from one of Britain's first Cuddle Parties.
Halle told us why having DNA testing done threw up as many questions as it answered, and Sir Patrick Moore shared his inheritance tracks. Fi was joined in the studio by Paul Roseby and poet Matt Harvey.
Hello Fi,
I love your programme but, please, Patrick Moore is an Astronomer, not an Astrologer.
Best Wishes,

Complain about this postFi,
You and Paul Roseby make a great double act presenting team. Can he stay on?
Can I berate you for all your Easter egg indulgence? You're not suppposed to touch them until tomorrow.

Complain about this postI was angry at Paul Roseby's throw-away comment about single people following the Cuddle Parties piece.
Matt Harvey expressed his discomfort with the idea appropriately. Paul Roseby's comment was insulting and innapropriate, especially after the single guy in the piece had actually observed that there are seedier ways of getting needs for touch met. And single people don't get such needs met as easily as coupled people.
PS I'm afraid I'd never heard of Paul Roseby before the programme.
Complain about this postI am regular cyclist in London, commuting from Putney to Central London. I have not yet heard a good reason for jumping red lights. Most arguments for jumping red lights are poor excuses for not bothering to follow the highway code.
Jumping red lights and cycling on pavements is both dangerous and an annoyance to other road users and pedestrians, and against the law.
Unfortunately, if I comment on this to cyclists when on my bicycle I will get a mix of abuse and support. But then I have also been threatened with violence and given a stream of abuse by car drivers for asking them to get off their handheld mobile phones...
