Vic Galloway chats to the formerly mysterious Silver Columns at the harbourside in Anstruther.

When Eagleowl turned up with a double bass I admit I was a little flummoxed. How would it fit in our camper van?

Well it did, and here's the evidence. Where there's a will etc...

Last year's debut single from the recently unmasked Silver Columns, aka Adem and Johnny Pictish Trail (incidentally the organiser of the festival - busy man!!). Channelling the spirit of Jimmy Somerville. The sweaty Legends crowd loved it.

Back in the cosy confines of our van outside Anstruther Town Hall, two beautiful covers from man of the moment Adem. First up is the Tim Buckley classic, "Song To The Siren", (later reinvented by This Mortal Coil, of course), followed by Low's "Laser Beam"

King Creosote is joined in our wee campervan by Pictish Trail and Adem for a cover of Withered Hand's "No Cigarettes".

Kieran Hebden AKA Four Tet was in the sunny seaside town of Anstruther on Sunday 15th March to play at this year's Homegame festival.

OLO Worms are the Bristolian video ninjas who provided the psychedelic backdrop to the Silver Columns gig. Here they are in musical mode performing a track in our van.

Graeme Ronald aka Remember Remember popped into our van to record a song solo, despite having a six-piece band with him for his live set in the Town Hall. Watch and be amazed as he creates a wall of pleasant noise using a loop pedal and ordinary household implements like cassette tapes, scissors and sticky tape. Oh yes, and a guitar.

Anstruther, Fife. Famous for fish and chips of course, and also the Fence Collective. Each spring for the past few years the eccentric indie label hosts a wee mini festival. They call it . It's widely regarded as one of the most fun and downright civilised events you could hope to attend.

This year's Homegame takes place next weekend, a bit earlier than usual - 12th-14th March.

Last year we went along for a day with our van and recorded some groovy sessions in the beautiful sunshine - you can still watch them here.

And we're doing it again. We're also going to be filming a couple of live gigs, and some of the music we record will end up on Vic Galloway's Radio Scotland show on Monday 15th March.
