The Fun and Filth cabaret may be over but the fun times continue with this amazing free download: The Tom Staar house remix of the Fun and Filth Cabaret theme to kickstart your weekend.
Hi I'm Sara Cox, broadcaster, style-icon. I'm a bit bedraggled but I'm here in gorgeous Edinburgh, quite nervous about tonight .....

Just stepped off stage - think it went well, i enjoyed it- went so fast it seemed to last sort of about 15 minutes even though it was well over an hour - apologies to Daniel P Carter! But it was great, The Hoff was awesome, me and Scott had no rehearsal like we said and nothing really went wrong. The only thing that did go wrong was that I called The Axis of Awesome the Axis of Entertainment but I don't think anybody noticed! Day 1 was pretty successful. I'm yet to look at twitter - not sure if people loved it or hated it but I think the important thing is that I enjoyed it! Highlights for me were the woman hammering a spoon up her nose (Lilikoi Kaos) actually rather into her face than up her nose, and The Hoff and Scott duet. I mean everything went well - there was nothing that went wrong and even their vocals seemed to work, it even sounded good when they did a song together but that could have just been me being crazy by then.
But yeah, day 1 a success, only 3 more days to go. Fingers crossed it will be ok when Dappy comes tomorrow because I think he thinks it's a carvery not a cabaret but we'll see!

So, the first show is done. I need a lie down now I think. Don't know about you but my personal highlight was Scott's duet with the Hoff. Oh, and Angelos... he was blimin brilliant. Think we're going to invite him back tomorrow for more Hard Talk, cannot wait!
I have to say thank you to Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer for letting me bumrush his set too, even though I forgot the words lol. Right... off for a well deserved diet beverage... x
I've just come off air on the first day day of our radio show in Edinburgh, it's always a mad show as so many people are popping in and for the first time we've been streaming on the website and on Red Button so there's lots to do!
The Hoff was brilliant, he's going to be on such good form later I'm so looking forwards to it. He's been in Edinburgh for a few days having a laugh and chilling out, so he's well up for it. His daughters Bella Vida are also performing with a hoola-hooping man that does 'boylesque' which is the boy version of burlesque apparently! I met a man who is Bavaria's third best Hoff impersonator - The Hoff met him too and though he was weird :) you can check out the moment
The whole experience is just... weird... but i LOVE it, I'm addicted to the Edinburgh festival and i can't wait for the first Fun and Filth cabaret show tonight, I just hope it all goes to plan 'cause we haven't really much time to rehearse, I'm going to go start rehearsing now actually, we've only got a couple of hours so...
So, I've been living with Scott for less than 24 hours and its already v. funny.
Caught him practicing this (which may or may not feature in tonight's cabaret performance!) earlier this morning.
It's going to be epic later I think!
Beccy x
Hello! My name is Alistair and I do internet things for the Scott Mills show. You may have heard Beccy recently call me up in the office and drop 24 Red Hot Chilli Peppers song titles into a conversation without me having a clue what was going on. Anyway, nice to meet you. I will be doing some blogging from Edinburgh to hopefully give you a flavour of what's going on behind the scenes during our week of shows.
During the last week Scott had asked whether any of you might want to appear in our cabaret via a webcam from the comfort of your own homes. In the last couple of days Scott and Beccy have been contacting some would-be performers via their webcams in some early morning auditions. Here's some of the people who were auditioned and who you will have a chance to see perform live in cabaret from their homes next week! It's safe to say that they bring something to cabaret that's probably never been seen before!
If you have got a good broadband connection and a webcam, YOU can appear in our Fun and Filth Cabaret alongside Scott Mills, Nick Grimshaw and more!
That's right!
If you have a weird or strange talent that you think the world should see on our funny and filthy stage and have a strong internet connection, a webcam, and of course a computer, now is your chance!
Email scott.mills@bbc.co.uk and tell us what you'd do in your own cabaret perfornance, whether that's juggling skittles whilst riding a unicycle, doing impressions, magic tricks, whatever, let us know and you could be appearing at the Edinburgh Festival from the comfort of your own home!
We have the official theme tune to the cabaret. Imagine it - the lights go down, the audience gasps, a single spotlight illuminates the stage, the dancing girls come on and this song starts...
What do you think?
The One That Doesn't Speak (But Does Occasionally Type)
Everyone knows that a good cabaret has to have a theme tune. So, Scott asked me and Chris to try and write one. I stuck to a traditional cabaret theme, whereas Chris took an entirely different direction. Have a listen and see what you think. Which one do you prefer?
