All platforms to Wimbledon

Yes, it's a non-stop, multi-platform service for and as the Euros reach a climax it's time for the tennis to take centre stage as we look forward to 13 days of compelling action which will hopefully see a fit advance deep into the second week.

Having never reached a Grand Slam quarter-final it will be a tough ask but he is undoubtedly one of just a handful of players who are capable of lifting the trophy and more importantly he believes he can win.

50 days and counting

I've mentioned before that we like a landmark at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ and today marks 50 days until the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

Yes, I know it's not quite the same as a decent anniversary (and I'll be honest, my research merely consisted of looking at the countdown at the top of ) - but 50 days to go still feels like a good enough reason to report on how our plans are progressing.

First audience figures in for Euro 2008

The doom-mongers have been proved wrong about . It has unquestionably had a big hole in it because of the . But audiences are still coming to it in large numbers and I am 100 per cent confident they will grow further.

The biggest TV audience so far was a peak of over seven million for on ITV1. So we are looking forward to taking on the Dutch on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One on Friday night and then the France v clash next Tuesday. But other figures have been strong too; more than five million watched and a large tea-time audience tuned in for .
