Let the Sports Personality debate commence

The fact that ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sports Personality of the Year provokes so much debate is one of the main reasons I love being editor of the show.

In the SPOTY office, we are worse than anyone, constantly guessing who might make the top 10, checking who are the favourites, discussing and disagreeing on who the 30 sports editors might nominate. So as soon as we get the results through, I really look forward to announcing the top 10 contenders in order to hear people's reactions.

More tickets released for biggest Sports Personality

With less than two months to go until the 57th ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sports Personality of the Year is crowned, the second wave of tickets for this year's event in Birmingham have gone on sale.

And what a show we have lined up. The 2010 event will be the biggest ever, with more than 12,000 people at the LG Arena on 19 December. Thousands of tickets have already been snapped up but you can still be part of the audience -
