**Breaking news** 1000 facebook fans

Last weekend we set ourselves a challenge to get 1000 fans of The Cut on by midnight on 31st July 2010. Not only have we smashed our target (with 1001), but we did it a whole 31 hours andÌý15 minutes early, as literally 15 minutes ago we hit our 1000 fan target.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to you guys for helping us out with our mission and spreading the word to your friends. We've going to spend our weekend thinking of the next mission we can set ourselves...
