Blondie - Heart Of Glass
Wesley - Just Weren't Meant To Be
Bloc Party - Kreuzberg
Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart
MGMT - It's Working
Panic At The Disco - Nine In The Afternoon
The Killers - Read My Mind
The Revoffs -ÌýBells & Whistles
The Drums - Best Friend
Vampire Weekend - Giving Up The Gun
Harry Connick Jr - Nowhere With Love
Aztec Camera - Jump
Harry Connick Jr - It Had To Be You

And here it is (or as much of it as I can gather together) in a beautiful , so you can act out the episodes all over again. Or just listen to the music.

This week, the best song on the list is a tough call. You can't argue with Blondie, so don't even try. And any list which contains Bruce Springsteen at one extreme and the Drums at the other is going to be hard to represent in just one tune. Plus the older stuff has an unfair advantage, we all grew up with it.

So I'm going to plump for Panic At The Disco. It's beautifully strange, Brendan's quivering bleat sounds amazing in the middle of all of that weird psychedelic pop, and I like the way the chords churn around and around.

Over to you: Which Cut cut is the best?

Yes, but Fraser, WE didn't grow up with it, you did.

And anyway, who says that we'll be biased towards a certain song just because of the era or because it's popular? I generally just tend to listen to music I like, regardless of where it's from. Plus I listen to a lot of unknown music - some of the artists I even know personally.

How come you've never used ABBA in The Cut? Legends!

What Nine in the Afternoon was played? :O When? Must've missed it. I smiled when I heard Vampire Weekend.

Thanks for putting this together Fraser!

My vote goes to Aztec Camera!
