Well, this French smoking ban is about as silly as anything politicians can develop because it misses the whole point. The problem is not "smoking," it's smoking tobacco products, in particular cigarettes. Yes, let's find yet another way to fine pot smokers while ignoring reality. It's not smoking, it's what people are smoking and how that's the real issue here, but the politicians as usual miss the point, just like hunting with Dick Cheney.

I was born and raised in zimbabwe, at the age of 19 i then lost my zimbabwean citizenship due to the political crisis we suffered, my self and two brother had no choice but to immigrated to South Africa while my father and only sister immigrated here to the united kingdom, as far as family records have it, my great great grand father, smauel franklyn evans left the uk in the late 1800's to basically go out and install her majesty's queen victoria's word, but this is not why im writting to u sir,
how ever my story is more of an enquiry as to how and why it is that i as a british decendsant cannot gain citizenship but some one from an ethnic group may,
I realize that this may sound a bit racist and that is not the case, i am merely enquiring as to why the laws are as they,
