Comedian and actor Bill Bailey joined Christine and Adrian on tonight's show.


Rav Wilding spoke about the dangers of fireworks to 17-year-old Jake, who had been maimed by a firework. He investigated how shopkeepers are regularly going against trading standards and breaking the law by selling fireworks to under 18s.


As Lewis Hamilton became the youngest person ever to win the World Championship this weekend, famous F1 commentator, Murray Walker took a moment to tell the story of Mike Hawthorn, Britain's first F1 champion.


Wildlife man, Mike Dilger took at look at the incredible journey salmon make and found out exactly how high they can really jump.


We took a hard look at the tougher times in British history  as Justin Rowlatt looked at the Industrial Revolution and the effects of child labour in the 1840s in our series Worst Time To Be British. When's yours?


Plus we revealed what One Show viewers have raised for our Children in Need, Pennies for Pudsey appeal just two weeks before the finale.
