Just a post to say thank you for all of the photos that have been sent in - we'll be adding many of them to the new galleries on the new website (which we hope you like).

One of my favourites is the picture, above, of Sam Raine (sent in by his mum Sue). She wrote: "Here is a picture of my son with a butterfly - which stayed with him all day before eventually flying away. Sam is a magnet for wildlife, and his knowledge of all creatures great and small never ceases to amaze me... a couple of weeks ago, he came home from school with a starling perched on his hand!"
