Worm survey: More information

George McGavin joined a group of children and scientists completing a survey about the common earthworm, an extremely important creature but one that surprisingly we know very little about.

Scientists want to build up our understanding of the soil types they live in and where the different types live across the country.

Ìý

The Open Air Laboratories (OPAL) has launched a soil and earthworm survey and they're asking for your help. All you have to do to take part is test your local soil and identify your local earthworms.
