Beautiful: Jamie's photo shortlist
One ShowÌýwildlifeÌýphotographer Jamie CrawfordÌýhas chosen hisÌýfavourite photographs fromÌýthe 'Beautiful' category. Here they are:
Ìý
- 'Ponies at Dawn' by Roger Hatley from the New Forest
Ìý
Roger, 61, is retired and lives in Hive. This image of ponies grazing in the mist at dawn was taken at Lyndhurst in the New Forest. He took the picture really early one morning in August and Roger says he had never seen light like it before.
Roger is a member of a camera club and often enters competitions, he does "very well" but is always surprised about which ones people like. He admits to not beingÌýa patient photographer but does always have his camera at the ready.
Ìý
- 'Owl from above' by Stephen Durrant from Norfolk
ÌýAnother picture that caught Jamie's eye was this wonderful photo of an owl.
However, Jamie's overall favourite photographÌýin this category was:
- 'Garden snail' by Andrew Thompson from Bury, Lancs
Ìý
Andrew says he "found this snail in the back garden and it was happy to pose for the camera!"
