Adebayor's started so well for Man City
Mour's the pity
Is it sexist to say on the radio "Mourinho is gorgeous"? Some of you said it was. It was the perfect radio phone-in for me - we started talking about his tactical nous and ended up talking about his divine good looks. Just shows how the listeners steer the conversation.
May have been your perfect interview but speaking as a long suffering Sheffield Wednesday Fan suffering from London overload ( see other posts ) it couldn't have been more boring.....................mind when Sammy Lee gets the push................
........and by the by the you really do play straight into the hands of the " women shouldn't do football " brigade with your "Mourinho isn't he gorgeous" fixation. I'm not one of their number by the way as i obviously don't do football as evidenced by my lifelong support of the Owls.
Hi Victoria
I am a true Five Live fan - all my radios are tuned into 909/693 and are rarely altered!
But that's not why I am writing to you. I don't know whether you watch Coronation Street, but one of the current storylines concerns David Platt. Gail, his mum, has kicked him out of the house because he very nearly caused the death of Bethany (his niece) through hiding Ecstacy tablets in the head of one of her dolls. This got me thinking, how would I feel had that been my son? Now, David Platt is an absolute pain and I wouldn't be surprised if mums up and down the country have regularly been shouting advice in unison to Gail. But how do we really feel? I really don't think I could ever turn my back completely on my son no matter what he had done. So I was wondering what other mums would do - perhaps this could be a subject for discussion on your morning phone-in programme.
Kind regards
Yours sincerely
