I'm postie on strike, next week going to Germany by train, where possibility of train strike, have made contingency plans, why don't people plan ahead, seem to take post for granted, they will miss it when it's gone, threat of strikes known for some time
Just surfing on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ website having tried to tidy up my office, when I saw this site. I just thought I'd send you a few photos of my workplace, even if it is grey and murky outside. Autumn has arrived !
Working from home does have it's disadvantages - work is always here, there is no getting away from it and there's no one to talk to :( !
If it doesn't exist, then what does the delay button not look like?
Hi Victoria, well I do listen at home. However, the car radio is always on 5live and I do listen in via the net on my laptop. Does that help?
I listen to your show whilst I am work - I am employed as a housekeeper and so whilst doing my chores I tune in and like to listen to the discussions that are going on. Great show!

I have listened to your show for a few years, but normally do so in my office.
However, due to a virus, I've been working in a spare room come office for the past month or so.
I agree with your previous poster in that as well as having advantages working from home, there are some disadvantages, not least the 'phone always ringing. It can also be quite lonely which is sometimes nice and sometimes not.
I will send you a few photographs of my place of work whenever I get there. Today I've got the doctor to see, something I should have done three weeks ago.
Anyway, if you have a few days off you should take a trip down the Thames on the Waverly. It's usually based between Glasgow and Dunoon and is the world's last sea-going paddle steamer! Occasionally it visits London.
I was on it a few weeks ago, from Glasgow to Dunoon and a few nights in a nice hotel. It's great.

Hi Victoria, Having listened to your broadcasting for years I was getting withdrawal symptoms whilst you were off on maternity leave. Then I moved abroad in February (Barbados) and a friend told me you had returned and I could get 5live online. Now I listen at home from 5 am before going to work. Always a good show, keep it up Regards, David, Barbados.
