Return of The Apprentice
Former Apprentice contestant, Andy Jackson is blogging for us all week
I’m looking forward to coming onto Victoria’s show tomorrow but am a little nervous about what to say about the last year. The show didn’t make me a millionaire. I still have to iron my own shirts and I even made my own tea last night. Fame and fortune has definitely missed me by a mile here.
I can’t wait until the Apprentice tomorrow to see if any of the candidates have learned anything from the previous programme. I do hope that no one is as lame as I was and head like a lamb to the slaughter by nominating themselves as a project leader for the first task as I did.

Hi Andy
Really looking forward to having you on the programme tomorrow, and there's no need to be nervous about the last year - just tell us what's happened since you were fired, how the experience changed you and your family's life, and what advice you'd give to the 16 new apprentices. It's intriguing that you say "fame and fortune missed you by a mile" - judging from your first posting that's not what you were looking for (and anyway people still recognise you in the street - isn't that fame of sorts?)
Speak tomorrow,
Love Victoria
Although I enjoyed the first few series of the Apprentice, I dont think I will bother this time. Like many reality shows it started well but now is just going to be used as a vehicle for ego-driven wannabees trying to get themselves a career in the media. Also I suspect the candidates are now chosen in the manner of Big Brother ie the more controversial they are likely to be, the more exciting the producers think the show will be. I had enjoyed watching the show to see people testing their business skills in a high pressure situation, sadly I think it will now degenerate into a personality contest and lose much of what originally made it interesting.
