Murraymania or Murraymildenthusiasm

Tony Parsons writing in today says he won't be supporting Andy Murray in his fourth round match at Wimbledon today but WILL be backing his opponent Richard Gasquet. Why does Murray split opinion so much? There are many theories: his petulance, his admission (honesty?) that he would support anyone but the England football team, the fact that he's not Tim Henman ...the list goes on. To listen to his match tune into Five Live from 12.30 with Simon Mayo and Clare Balding.
