Film writer Dave Berry dies
Tributes have been paid to journalist, film writer and archivist Dave Berry, who has died in hospital in Cardiff.
Mr Berry, 66, wrote Wales And Cinema: The First Hundred Years and helped rediscover rare Welsh film, including a life story of David Lloyd George.

Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod line-up announced
The line-up for the 2010 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has been announced.
The event takes place from 5-11 July. There's a great deal in the schedule, with concert performances from Karl Jenkins and Llyr Williams, Bond, Only Men Aloud, and the Cory Band, and culminating with an evening show from Nigel Kennedy.

Welsh programmes celebrated at the National Television Awards
Doctor Who has been crowned Britain's most popular drama, with David Tennant also receiving a gong for Outstanding Drama Performance, at the 2010 National Television Awards.
Rolf to open Sir Kyffin exhibition
Rolf Harris will open an art gallery's latest exhibition by one of Wales' most celebrated artists, the late Sir Kyffin Williams.
Artist and TV personality Rolf, a long-time admirer of Sir Kyffin, will unveil the exhibition at in Llangefni, Anglesey, on 5 February. The exhibition will run from 6 February to 11 July.

Philip Gross wins TS Eliot poetry prize
, a professor of creative writing at the University of Glamorgan, has won the 2009 TS Eliot Poetry Prize for his collection The Water Table.
Gross, originally from Cornwall, now lives in Penarth close to the shore of the Bristol Channel, which the poems in his award-winning work reflect.

Hannah Cooper, 20, a student at the University of Wales in Newport, designed the dress featuring £1m-worth of £20 notes printed on silk, after getting permission from the Bank of England.
