Road safety measures outside a couple's home is driving them around the bend and can mean a four mile journey just to turn around, according .

Prof John Solbe and his wife, Dr Rosemary Solbe, live on the west side of the A525 St Asaph to Rhuddlan dual carriageway, near the Talardy Hotel, and now with the access point across the central reservation being filled in they have to drive two miles up to the Rhuddlan roundabout and two miles back before they pass their home and continue on to St Asaph.

And as Prof Solbe is head steward at St Asaph Cathedral that sometimes mean four trips to church on Sundays - an extra 16 miles.
