Is Big Brother watching you?

Denbighshire Council says it is not covertly monitoring the waste people put in their wheelie bins - despite the fact a device has been found in some people's carriers.

The council has been forced to issue a statement through its after the reported people's concern when the devices were uncovered.

Instead, the authority says it was cheaper to have the bugs installed when the wheelie bins were ordered rather than have them fitted retrospectively in the future if the council wanted to monitor what people were dumping.

What do you reckon - is the council right to monitor you this way?
