Phone mast protest

There is growing opposition to the planned siting of a 50ft phone mast on Pen y Maes Road, Holywell, near primary schools and the town's community hospital, according to .

Bryn Richards, who lives near site, said he was concerned for the health of his wife, Lorna, 65, suffering with cancer. But phone companies say there is no evidence to show phone masts have any adverse effect on health. Flintshire Council has yet to decide on the phone mast's go ahead.
