The influx of migrant workers is putting pressure on public services such as schools, according to a report in .
Bradford council in West Yorkshire, where nearly 5,000 workers arrived last year, is one of many local authorities experiencing a shortfall of school places in inner-city areas and is to build four new schools, says the website.
In the Wrexham area alone the figure of 10,000 migrant workers and their families is widely quoted.
