Beach patrols get busy

A timely press release has just been sent to us talking about the work of Rhyl & Prestatyn's seasonal Beach Patrol which is now in full service over the summer season from Foryd Harbour by the Blue Bridge at Rhyl to Barkby Beach, Prestatyn.

says the team has already been involved in two rescue incidents and two incidents of returning lost children to their parents. In the latest, they alerted & when children became stranded on sandbanks at Rhyl.

The team of 13 lifeguards and beach supervisors are on duty daily from 10am-5pm until September. They also cover the new paddling pool at Rhyl's Drift Park.
