First World War - Local historian Geraint Owain uses the letters written by Ruthin soldiers sent to fight on the frontline to tell the story of their experiences during the Great War.

Derelict castle to become hotel - A £6m project is getting under way to transform dilapidated Gwrych Castle, Abergele, into a luxury hotel.

Courage award for carer - Emily, 11, who lost her mother when she was a baby is nominated for an award for caring for her grandmother and then meets the Prime Minister.

Memorial for hunter's horse leap - A 16th Century horseman who accepted a bet to jump a mine shaft on Halkyn mountain is commemorated in a painting.

Buckley plans - H: "The local health board are considering building the new clinic on one of the two school football pitches at the Elfed High School. Do the local councillors agree with this? Do the school governors want to sell off the crown jewels, open space in the middle of Buckley?"
