The widow of a soldier, who rescued a woman and baby from Stalin's Russia, has been contacted by the child her husband helped nearly 65 years ago - and now they are to meet.
Private Frank Jones escaped from a German hospital and spent three weeks walking to freedom in Russia during which time he met a woman and the pair then decided to pose as a married German couple to get to freedom before being separated - never to see or hear fom each other again.
Now, a life time later, family members have been in touch with Frank's widow Chris and they are to meet, reports .
