A project has been launched to put the food of Flintshire in the spotlight - and on to more plates. The plan is to map out who is producing what and how much and to see how it could best be marketed.

North Wales police has run up a £750,000 bill in just five years for hiring cars. It works out at a cost of more than £400 a day - enough to buy one family car, such as a Vauxhall Astra, every month.

Pontfaen on the B4500, near Chirk, was shut by Wrexham Council to all traffic and pedestrians after a crack appeared on the bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
