The Serbian team haven't taken their defeat well - "" says their ex-Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman , who, perhaps not coincidentally was substituted during the 1-0 defeat to Holland.
healthy blood-letting? or morale-sapping divisions?
And talking of excuses, what about England? They're complaining - well, not complaining- pointing out they on board during their narrow win over Paraguay.
And is the story of
the most heartwarming of the tournament so far?

I have to say I see why Scots are always annoyed at England. With all that wealth of talent, superb training facilities and everything else in between, England have become the cry babies of the world cup.
T&T all the way(P.S. not likely but holding out hope)

When are we going to accept that perhaps the England team (this and previous) does not have the intelligence and ability to be successful in the international tournaments. We keep using ready made excuses such as manager's substitutions, hot weather, etc but the fact of the matter is lack of ability and intelligence to keep possession (credit to Gary Lineker who keeps mention the fact!) and the perennial "kick n follow" :-) tactics is the problem.
The point is, the condition is the same for every team but the England team continues to do the only thing they know how to do, kick it long! These are historic instances in the summer competitions regardless of who the manager is. Somehow I if feel the problem lies in the players' abilities, or lack of! And the fact that the English tactics and mentality is no longer effective at the international stage, especially in the summer competitions!
