Ghana lead the African challenge

Today's programme saw Vera from Ghana take on USA supporters ahead of their crunch match in Nuremberg this afternoon. We also heard from Aussies and Croats in Germany whose teams are meeting for another crucial game in Stuttgart.
Vera asked whether the Americans were ready for their first African challenge and clash with the Black Stars, while US fan Kevin in Ireland said his team were up fo it and would raise their game. He said Michael Essien was Ghana's only player. Vera was outraged.
Xavier in Stuttgart insisted Croatia would beat Australia, even though, he said, his country had leant the Aussies some players. Aussie fan Chris in Germany said his team would win.
Japan fan Yo also joined us in the studio and told Renata that Brazil had never beaten Japan in a competitive match and that their trainer, Zico, knew too much about the Brazilians. But Renata was having none of it. She predicted a 3-0 victory for the Brazilians.
The Ghanaian fans in Nuremberg joined in with a song, and our presenter Martin Kelner said that if air time was any judge Ghana would already have been crowned world champions.
Yon in Prague predicted it would be a black day for Italy due to the corruption scandal back home. But he was worried by the Czechs lack of firepower. However, Italian fan Mimmo said the corruption scandal would have a positive effect on the Squadra Azzuri.
Ras Mwadi texted us to say "Ghanaians, show the Americans the beauty o' the Black. Let 'em have the worst of it, beat 'em three - nil."
Khalif in London texted us to say .
Italy must win, the world cup is nothing without Iitalia.

My congradulations to Ghana in classifying for the World Cup . As I have stated previously, the USA is still in the adolescent phase. I just hope that the USA Team could rise to even bigger heights. I also want to congradulate Italy in its classification.

This victory for Ghana is a victory for the African Continent. After the match I made a call to the passport office in
Ghana, And I have just being told that God has requested for a dual citizenship from the immigration service of Ghana. God wants to celebrate with us.
There is serious hope to the future of African football. God bless Ghana and Africa. There is great hope for change in the advancement of African Soccer.

I hope and pray that Ghana will play the game without been inferior to big names. she should take into consideration that a goal scored will demoralize the Brazilian National Team.
