A lot of you are already telling us about your blogs which is great and I'm enjoying reading them all.
There is some here, and two mad fans (an Englishman and a Scot) hosting a .
Phil McThomas, 35 (Middlesbrough fan) and Tony Wildey, 31 (Hearts) say they have an insatiable appetite for football and conceived the idea "in the middle of a rant about the dearth of soccer podcasts".
The favourite thing I've come across is a list of World Cup rules for the fridge on a blog run by a chap called Ian living in Barcelona. It is wildly sexist - but hilarious of course. My favourite is Rule 3:
If you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game, I don't mind, as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me
Sadly I can't link to it as Ian has also included a rather cheeky photo which is against our editorial guidelines ;0(
But of you wanted to go to and type in 'worth printing off and sticking to the fridge' you'd find him.
I have found it quite hard to find decent sports blogs over the last few months (tell me if you know of any) - but the World Cup does at last seem to be inspiring a healthy crop.
I have been talking to an American called Joe Conway who is blogging at the . He's gonna give us some insight into how football (soccer, aaargh) is viewed in the US. 'Do Americans even know there's a World Cup going on?' might be an interesting place to start? No sign of it yet in the daily email I get from the New York Times though I did find this
The USA goalkeeper (ex Spurs now ) is . As with most sportspeople it seems, it's not (yet) the most revealing thing you'll ever read but he does divulge that "our aim is to do better than the quarterfinals of the tournament".

Oh, and I also saw this competition to find for four lucky people to for the World Cup, though the deadline is 24 May.

Hi, this is a briliant blog by the 大象传媒, being able to read the views of the sports editors, and we can give our views in a systematic way!
Looking forward to the World Cup, but at the minute have the small matter of Uni exams, which will be complete on June 5th, and then can enjoy the Beeb's coverage!

I am from Bangladesh, a South Asian country. No South Asian country has ever played in WOrld CUp Football but that does not mean that we are not fan of World Cup. My blog is about Asian Business but I am now not out of WOrld Cup Football fever. In the last one week, I have posted nearly 10 entries about world cup football. I'm really enjoying reading this, and all of the other World Cup blogs. I think blogs are a brilliant way to get many new angles on an event, and there is no bigger event that the one coming up. A lot of the content is much more fun to read than the traditional mainstream press, and for people in countries where fotball is not the number one sport, they are a lifeline.
My own is , which features regular entries previewing all 32 teams.

Walk into any sports bar in America and you're extremely unlikely to run into any soccer fans.
Thankfully. as a Brit living in America, one of the major advantages of the Internet (and blogs) is that it allows like-minded soccer fans to communicate with each other.
The 大象传媒 World Cup Blog is the perfect conduit for this.

As a Scotland fan with no-one to support at the World Cup, I have decided to support everyone (including England!). I will be (trying to) watch every World Cup side with their fans in London, starting with Costa Rica (even though there's only 100 Costa Ricans in Britain)...

Hello. Don't forget Canada! We are not in the World Cup, but there is an excellent blog being run here by a newspaper, the Globe and Mail.
