After a month-long fiesta of football the World Cup final is upon us and Spain and the Netherlands will battle it out at Soccer City in Johannesburg on Sunday to hold aloft the coveted trophy - which will be a first for either team.

Well, the 2010 World Cup is almost over and what a month it has been. South Africa have been great hosts and some of the football has been wonderful to watch. The second World Cup semi-final takes place on Wednesday, with Germany taking on European champions Spain in Durban.
If Germany can contain David Villa. who has scored five goals in the tournament so far, I think they can avenge their 1-0 defeat in the Euro 2008 final.
