After a month-long fiesta of football the World Cup final is upon us and Spain and the Netherlands will battle it out at Soccer City in Johannesburg on Sunday to hold aloft the coveted trophy - which will be a first for either team.
Here's my preview of the final.

Well, the 2010 World Cup is almost over and what a month it has been. South Africa have been great hosts and some of the football has been wonderful to watch. While we wait for Sunday's final between Spain and the Netherlands, take a look at my review of the tournament and let me know what you thought of the action - on and off the pitch.

The second World Cup semi-final takes place on Wednesday, with Germany taking on European champions Spain in Durban.
If Germany can contain David Villa. who has scored five goals in the tournament so far, I think they can avenge their 1-0 defeat in the Euro 2008 final.

The final two World Cup quarter-finals take place on Saturday.
Argentina against Germany in Cape Town is the one I'm really looking forward to as I've commentated on two World Cup finals between these two teams.
The final last eight game is Paraguay v Spain. There is a bit of history to this one as well.

Motty previews the second day of quarter-final action (UK only)
The first of the 2010 quarter-finals take place on Friday with the Netherlands v Brazil (1500 BST) and Uruguay v Ghana (1930 BST).
I think the Dutch will stretch Brazil, but I take the South Americans to go through to the semis.
In the other match, Ghana might find this a step too far against the experienced Uruguayans.
