In New Orleans

We're in New Orleans, we've been to Preservation Hall, we're nearly ready to go an air, and we're excited.

Preservation HallFor me, it was amazing to go back to Preservation Hall having squeezed into the back fifteen or so years ago to hear the band play. Then, I was on holiday with my parents. Everything about the place told you it was something special.

So when Fiona said that was where we would be broadcasting from in New Orleans, I was thrilled. Going in today to set up, it was just as I'd remembered it. And the sense of magic is definitely still there. Hopefully, some of it will rub off on us.

We'll be talking to people who are trying to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Katrina and asking if the scenes of New Orleans after the storm change your view of race and class in America.
