I've been away from the programme for a few days, but it was clear to me when I woke up this morning and heard the about a UN post being bombed that the crisis in Lebanon is still what everyone's talking about - with analysis and opinion coming from as far afield as and . With meeting world leaders in Rome to end the crisis, there's hope of some kind of resolution. Though Italy's Prime Minister warns today's meeting is just a . Here in Britian, aid groups have written a to Prime Minister Tony Blair to call for a ceasefire, echoing calls by , an ally of Washington. Israel and Hizbollah were not represented.
