Your questions: Somalis in Cardiff and more

Kevin Anderson | 10:53 UK time, Thursday, 20 July 2006

Injured boysWe've got two days left in our conversations with immigrant communities in the UK. Today, we'll speak to Somalis in Cardiff. But as violence continues in the Middle East, we'll continue speaking to people caught in the crossfire.

But we'll also talk to our Somali guests about news that the Ethiopian government is prepared . I just confirmed that the Ethiopian ambassador to the UK, Berhanu Kebede, will join us to answer questions. The press office says he is keen to 'set the record straight'.

The Ethiopian government threatened to invade Somalia to support the UN-backed government there against Islamic militias. It's a fast moving situation. say that militias intend to capture Baidoa, where the interim Somalia government is now based. say that the militias have pulled back in the face of the threat from Ethiopia.
