The morning after the night before..

Rabiya Parekh | 11:52 UK time, Thursday, 21 September 2006

Ed Mark hosting a conference call with the EU teamWelcome back to out triumphant EU team. They should all be back in London by now and no doubt full if tales of how well the programme went. We're keen to hear your feedback.

World Peace Day -
It's the 25th, and was set up by the UN. Now, is the world really a more peaceful place..? I'm sure many people would scoff at the mere idea of marking today when you consider all that is going on. Tell us what you think?

-
Admittedly there's nothing new in this poll' the world opposes aggressive means to stop Irans possible nuclear arms programme. It also says that world opinion rejects Iran's claim that it is simply trying to develop nuclear energy. Will the powers that be really listen to the world?

Darfur
African leaders have said they would extend their mandate of a peacekeeping force at least until the end of the year. Some progress at any rate, but will it be enough?

Coup
Are they ever a good idea? Thailand, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mauritania and suspected coup attempt in Georgia earlier this month, also another foiled in Burundi. We could set up panels around some of these places with a studio expert talking about what changes, if it works, and how people react..?

Elfriede kept quite a dark secret for 60 years. Although married to a Jewish man, it was recently discovered that she was a Nazi concentration camp guard. But she's been deported from America after officals uncovered her past. Shortly after her husband, Fred, died in 2004, she admitted her role in the camp and struck an agreement with prosecutors to surrender her green card, move back to Germany and never return to America. She now lives with a sister in Viersen. Should she have been allowed to stay in the US?

Seems like there is something of a heated debate going on out there, half the population is Muslim, and some groups want say that is now enough to class it as an Islamic State..It's an internal debate by the sounds of it, but would be good to get a discussion going on it..
