Here are some of the stories kicking about today, the list is not exhaustive, so we really want to know if you think there is something else that people are talking about, or would want to talk about. So post a comment please!

MEXICO - has lost by less than 1%, but refuses to accept the result since there was only a partial recount of the votes. He has since threatened to continue protests and even set up an alternative goverment. The winner, Felipe Calderon, has said he will try to hold talks with Obrador for the sake of the country.

What do Mexicans think of this whole affair? Will Obrador's supporters be willing and able to continue their protests? Has anyone changed their minds since they voted in July?

. As politicians and journalists tussle over the actual date of his departure, ordinary voters are left wondering if Blair will ever be able to step down in a a dignified and orderly fashion, or if there will be a power struggle. Send us your comments

ARGENTINA - He was convicted of human rights crimes in 1985, but pardoned in 1990.
How far has Argentina come in dealing with its past? Do people feel strongly about the original pardon, was that letting Videla get away with it? Does this annulment mean anything?

INDIA - Thousands of people have observed a general strike in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, in protest at the . The police suspect Professor Sabharwal was murdered by student activists who opposed his decision to cancel college elections. Have you taken part in the strike? Why do people feel so strongly about this death? We'd like to hear from you. Post a comment and don't forget to leave us your phone number.
