This morning's morning
Hello world. I think for the first time in my life I don't have that much to say. I'm not particularly angry, i'm not particularly sad, and i'm not particularly happy. In fact I feel decidedly average (a very strange feeling for me).
So at the risk of making you feel average i'll ask for your help. I want to know what you've seen, heard or read today that's made you feel angry, sad, happy or in fact any emotion as long as you don't say average (or an emotion to that effect)!
Right, on to today. I think you'll be able to guess the first story on the list....
Yesterday, a regular WHYS blogger, Ferudun, told us that is planning to test a Nuke. He thought this would probably be a scary thing for Japan. If you're in Japan or South Korea what do you make of this latest threat? If you're outside of those two countries we also want your thoughts. North Korea says it wants to conduct the nuclear test to bolster its defences against the United States. Do you believe them? What's the best way for the international community to deal with rogue nuclear states?
An is expected to say that the IRA has given up it's violent past and no longer has the capacity to mount a sustained campaign. Do you believe them? If so, is this a template that shows all conflicts can only be solved by dialogue? Should the US begin talks with Al Qaeda? Give us your thoughts.
Shoplifting celebs. What's that all about? , daughter of Live Aid organiser Sir Bob Geldof, was detained by security staff on suspicion of shop lifting yesterday. Apparently it was all a misunderstanding and she was released. But it got me thinking about other celebs who've been accused of having Why do they do it? Boredom? The need to thrill seek? I'm not sure that any of us mere mortals will ever know, but your views are more than welcome.
